Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup butter (unsalted ideally)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cups parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces (half box) fettuccine

Notes

  • Obviously, salt the sauce.
  • Pepper in the sauce is nice too.

Procedure

  1. Begin boiling water for pasta, begin cooking when boiling
  2. Melt butter and cream over medium or medium-low heat
  3. Continue cooking at this temperature until mixture begins to bubble
  4. Simmer for around 15 minutes or until reduced
  5. Remove from heat, and cheese, and mix
